I believe since you have experience and want to do it yourself, you could do so. Make sure you include a resume with your hands on experience with your lending docs. I'm sure they'll subtract out a management fee percentage for the underwriters regardless of whether you are planning on doing it yourself so make sure when crunching your numbers you include whatever percentage your local market charges.
