Say someone is selling a note and you happen to find someone who is willing to buy it. Is it better to work out a contract with the buyers or the sellers in order to get a finders fee or compensated for the two parties coming together. Also, lets say that the buyers that you contacted bypass you and then deal directly with the seller. Can you take them to court and get paid with an argument that the buyers would have not made the transaction without you facilitating the two parties coming together. My teachers always said there are no dumb questions. Just wondering. Thanks for your help.
