I have a prop that I'm interested in, that WAMU holds 1st lien. I also have a prop where Countrywide holds 1st lien. And another where SAXON hold 1st. Is buying defaulted mortgage with WAMU, COUNTRYWIDE, SAXON, easier now, than 5yrs ago? Is buying defaulted mortgages better than short sale when dealing with these banks? All these property are in pre-foreclosure. I'm in washington state. These are properties that I'm interested in purchasing the note. (I don't own them, yet) Any help or info is appreciated!!!
